1. Daughter-two and I walked the new Victoria Park tunnel. I thought it would be a fun thing for her to do so that every time we drove through it she would remember walking in it. Plus it gave me an excuse not to do the Saturday morning Aikido and drama run without a car and hanging around at each for an hour! (The Husband was away).
Fortunately it is a short tunnel because I am not firing on all cylinders at the moment. (Note clever use of car themed language there). And Daughter-two was having a sneezy, eye-rubbing morning not yet alleviated by the antihistamines. (There's a privet tree shedding pollen across the street from her bedroom).

2. She is rehearsing for the big show coming up in a couple of weeks. We arrived at Monday drama class and she went off to get changed, returning waving her school t-shirt in the air but without her glasses. When she came back with them from the ladies', I told her "I'm the collective memory of this family aren't I?" and she giggled. But it's true. "Where's your book bag? Have you got your goggles? Did you take your key? Have you claimed those expenses? Where's your wallet? Where's your HEAD?"
3. After some pestering, she and I have begun learning Latin together. She loves it.
4. Homework this week included finding a good website with crafts and making one of the projects. She made a great butterfly and placed it carefully on her book bag. From where the dog equally carefully took it and took it to his basket, leaving a trail of soggy paper and cardboard. So she can, in all honesty, go to school tomorrow and say "the dog ate my homework".
