Daughter-two went through a brief stage of being attached to plastic spoons. She would go hunting for them in the kitchen drawer then settle down to read books or watch TV clutching them in her hand.
Around the same time she also decided it was a good idea to stand in a kitchen drawer. She was always very serious about this. In the end we emptied out the drawer to make it easier for her.
In Singapore the kitchens were always very simple and basic compared to the rest of the (marble floored) apartment (because it as assumed you would never go in there, just leaving all the cooking to the maid).
